Backcountry Adventures
In the back country I not only had a view one can only dream about, but I completed a science project that will be used in science museums as well as a new classroom featured teaching tool. My portion of the lesson was how to take soil pH tests that would help us to analyze the areas by telling us how acidic, basic or neutral the soil was. Along with the science project, the backpacking itself presented me with quite a large challenge. Being it was my first backpacking experience, 30 miles was a long way to go, and it wasn't exactly an easy journey. Along the trip, I learned many valuble life lessons, and it was an adventure that I will never forget.
